Limits 40Kmh ---------------IDLE
HC ppm: 64----------------- 200
CO % : .35-------------------- 1
NO ppm: 727
What I ran
HC: 50 ----------------------- 53
CO %: .51 -------------------- .07
NO : 1098
both times i passed my idel no problem.. the reading shown here is the 2nd run after a tank of guarantee to pass fuel treatment and my curb idel went way down but my 40km stay almost exactly the same.but the NO went up a bit..
I was thinking EGR but it seems to work.. I could stall the engine so im guessing its good.

Your Hydrocarbons are ok, that's the big one when you're doing emissions. The spike in NO and CO are caused by lean condition burning or bad timing. As an example, when trying to pass a car running rich (High HC, Low CO, Low NO) you may try to retard the timing from stock. Retarding the timing makes the spark plug fire later in the compression stroke. This burns the mixture at higher pressure, and as a result you get a better burn. The downside is that this can cause your intake charge to detonate prior to the plug firing, aka, detonation or knock. This is not only incredibly hard on your engine and cause terminal failures, but will cause CO and NO levels to climb.
The short and the long of what I'm tryin to say here is, check your timing, if your timing is retarded, advance it to stock, if it's stock, advance it just a bit, not more than 5/6 degrees. Also if you have anything like an HKS AFR interruper on it an dyou're running it lean to pass the test on HC (I've done that) don't run it full lean, just 0.4% lean or something of that nature.
My final piece of advice. If your cat has been burned by any of the following:
-Running rich for long periods of time
-Bumpstarts
-Running hard while cold
-Stuck valves
-Runnig with bad plugs
And you choose to replace it, remember that most replacement catalytic converters come with a packing grease, so you'll want to go out and beat on it for a while on the highway, to burn that off. Also, when you go to get tested, make sure you've run the car for at least 20mins. You can ask the attendant to keep the car running when you get there as well, it's your car, they should drive it like you want them to as long as it doesn't affect the test. Keep it running and warm.
Best of luck, emissions is a PITA. Hope it goes well.
