I'm assuming you're primarily looking for better stopping power, and not just fancy calipers to show off thru your rims... I'm looking into the same thing, here's what I'm looking at for parts:
Hawk HPS Street Pads (composite): ~$100 after taxes
DBA 4000 Series Slotted Rotor : ~$270 after taxes
Installation is maybe an hour (or two MAX) worth of labor... depends where you go, probably $80-150.
Budget $500 and you're good to go.

I had a 4 wheel disc conversion done. I'm not too sure if it's from a SIR or GSR. The front discs are larger than the Oem EG CX discs.
Here is the list of parts:
- Front and rear conversion
- Cross-drilled front and rear rotors
- Vortex front and rear pads
- Steel braided lines
- Rear trailing arms
- Front knuckles
- Type-R Master and Booster
Labour:
- install
- bleed brakes
- alignment
Total cost = $2200

I went to toronto jdm and got the 4x100 for like 350$ or so
.http://www.torontojdm.com/lite/cart....category_id=89
and put them on my self. the pads and rotors looked like new so i'm just going to use them. I don't think you really need drilled and slotted rotors, not right away anyhow. just use stock brake lines if money is concern, my front ones fit and the rear ones came with it, i had to buy a right rear though, 30$ from partsource. I 'm still using the stock master cylinder and booster, i don't think i need a "type R" might just got to a scrap yard and pull one of a si or intergra,
ANY INPUT? do i need to upgrade master/booster or get away with just master from a si????
