Falken Azenis RT615

Ok im in the market for new tires. I have my eyes set on a set of falkens for summer tires, now for you people who have owned these tires...what can you tell me about noise, comfort, traction, wet traction, wear price, shop recommendations, etc. As much information as possible would be great.

Im planing on getting 205/40/16, prices range from 500-580.

Thanks in advance!!!

I had Falken Azenis for about a year or so, it was an incredible tire with low noise and excellent dry grip. Never drove them in the wet so I can't comment on that.

have had these tires on my ride for about a month now...absolutely love them...can't beat these tires for the value...they are incredibly sticky...these are really meant for dry weather...you have to take it easy when it rains...they have a tread wear rating of 200 and they will wear out quickly...on the track these tires did not disappoint...its the real reason to have them on your car...

something interesting to think about is that some of them have reinforced sidewalls and some of them don't...doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it you just have to go to the website and see which have them and which don't...i got lucky that my 15s had them...

decent tires for the price.

however, once you get down to less than 40%, they're pretty scary in the rain at higher speeds. others have complained that they get a bit 'greasy' when you push them on the track.

road noise is ok, but they have a large contact patch with minimal blocks, therefore a bit noisy compared to a regular tire (i'm using the 205/50/15).

honestly though, there are better tires out there now. the Bridgestone RE01R is supposedly better and same with the new Dunlop Direzza StarSpecs (according to reviews i've read).

I am 100% agree with him for this part...

they are very sticky in hot condition but they wear out quickly...on the track , around 2/32 by day of lapping...with a B serie engine, when you push them hard a little bit.

After 12-15 minutes on the track is engouh...you have to cool down the tire.

In my daily drive car, i can do between 10, 000 - 15.000 km, good engouth for all summer.

Performance yes, comfort less than a touring tire, because of the more rigid sidewalls of this tire.

I think they are a good investment for the price, here we pay less than $400 for 4 tires, not so bad for a 200 thread wear tire.

I used them since the last model RT-215, few years ago.

i love this tire for the track, because the tire warm you, when the tire start to cries.. , it means that it has reached the limit.

Good luck..

I have these tires on my EG, they wear down fast, though they are worth it. I had a set of kumhos before, they were crap for a performance tire. Even the 615s were better in the snow. :P

Overall, the 615s are the best performance tires ive ever purchased.
