2002 SIR VS 2002 RSX Premium

I like the SiR more than the older RSX. The new RSX (updated front and rear fascias) looks great; more refined. Once i saw the new RSX, the older model just seemed ugly to me.
I think the SiR is a cooler car. The look may take a while to grow on you, but I think you would appreciate having something that's a little rare. Who knows, in a few years people may be dying to own an EP.

RSX! I love the design of the DC5 and I think it wins hands down for looks. Imo the EP3 looks too much like an egg. I like the older hatches better. Club RSX is a huge community, I'm not sure how big the EP3 crowd is.
The RSX looks good already without any exterior mods. An EP3 requires quite a few mods to look decent. Then again I'm biased

As an EP3 Owner I would say go with the EP. Insurance is cheaper on the RSX but a very little amount. I have been told the reason is because it has side airbags making it a safer vehicle. Performance with a Premium is the same, the EP3 has terrible resale value, where an RSX is much better. Styling on the EP3 is much more unique. I find either you love the design or you hate it, there is no happy medium. There are FAR less EP3's on the road than RSX. Most dealerships in Ontario only ever got about 5-7 per year, at most. How many RSX's do you see on your local Acura lot right now? The EP has a excellent shifter design which is definatly rare. You want reliability, mine is an '03 SiR, I have put 130,000km since new. All it has needed for work is rear brake pads. I still have the original tires on it, which have about 100,000k. I do recommend if your purchasing one, nake sure it has the GFX kit. When I was looking for a car when I bought mine, I was originally buying a RSX had all paperwork done, they said when you want to come pick it up. I walked into the Honda dealership 2 days before that call. There it was, my 03 SiR in white with the GFX, just sitting there, I knew i had to have it!! And besides pretty much anything off the RSX can go on the EP! Best of luck..
