215/55/16 fit on an 8th Gen LX?

Anyone know if 215/55/16 fit onto an 8thGen LX Sedan with no rubbing or clearance issues? Thanks. (stock is 205/55/16)

i have 215/60/16 on my 7th gen v6. fits with no problem. so i am guessing 215/55/16 will fit fine on an 8th gen cause 55 will have less sidewall than the 60. also, google tire size calculators and make sure the difference in overall diameter is not greater than 3%

That might be a bit big. It will certainly look taller and might rub too. I would try a test fit first. Why such a big tire anyway?

it should be fine, only 1.3% bigger in diameter compared to the dx
1.7% bigger compared to the lx's

btw, you shouldnt go wider than stock for winter tires

sorry, but I'm talking 215/55/16 (+55) onto an 8th gen civic LX... you're talking 7th gen v6 accord?

Yeah. That is the existing setup I got for my TSX. Thinking of putting them onto the Civic so I won't have to go out and but a set of 205/55/16 or 195/65/15. I'll test fit them ... thx

Ok, I can now confirm that 215/55/16 with 16x6.5 OEM Accord Steelies +55 offset FITS a Civic with no rubbing or clearance issues. Thanks for all the input.
