I was thinking of storing my car over the winter months.

I don't have a garage so.... Public Storage came to mind.

I know how to store the car, but how safe is it to leave my car in this storage garage for 4 months? Anybody ever tried storing their car in Public Storage? Yay or Nay?

 

I know many people that have stored cars in public storage...u really arent allowed to in many places (fire hazards and what not) but other than that its safe as you have the key to the unit and only you have the key!

just make sure you use a lock that has a bolt cutter gaurd on it like the dudley ones or even those bullet proof ones are nice

Nevermind.. it was more pricey than I thought it would be.
About $145 a month for a parking garage. Damn I wish I had my own garage...

 

Try looking in your local newspaper for people who rent out indoor storage spaces. I found a heated one in a barn at a farm close to my house for $50 a month. Better than $150.00 at a public place. Only I have a key and it's right behind their family house. Perfect!
