Car won't start... ideas

I am having car issues.

My car won't start.

I replaced the battery, after testing it and seeing it was a "bad" battery.

Right now, I stick in the key, and I can hear the car make the cranking noise, but nothing after that.

ideas?

Could be your Starter. Just that's a Guess. Might not be sending any Spark to the plugs.

Sam - check yo see if there is any moisture around you Distibutor. Also check to see if there are any cuts or holes in the boots of your plug wires where they connect to the cap.

Has it been a while since you drove??

How much gas in the tank??

Is it garaged or outside??

Its cranking but not turning over right??

If so the starter would seem to be fine..

Look at distibutor/plugs/wires...

More than likely it's one of the above.

Sounds like your coil...

It happened to my 90 Accord few weeks ago... Had the coil replaced and it works fine!

heh heh, that's just too funny

wish i knew more about the workings of "The Honda" Sam..
but if nothing's new but the weather, i'd probably look towards a moisture problem..

Update:

Found a possible source for the problem.

A wire from the battery to the ingnition kit managed to disconnect itself.

The plug/wire from the ignition kit to the distributor seems to have a crack.

My plugs are black... (running rich Fuel Map programs)

so gonna replace my plugs and wires...

Distributor is probably a factor.

Getting plenty of Fuel,
Battery is Good
Spark is being lost along the way...

Is it intermitant? Like after the car has been driven, stopped, and you try to start it again but it won't? If that's the case, take a look at the main relay (controls fuel pump).
