what would win in the 1/4 mile? a stock 99-00 sir or a stock 95-01 gsr?

im talking just bone stock... everything, tires whatever and equal drivers

 

strip it donw to bare metal like i did even take out the bolts n nuts and the best light weight to do it take out ur whole engine with the tranny lol

 

I would put my money on GSR,, would be close tho

I've run 15.63 in my almost stock 00' sir...in slick conditions...

It would be a very close race. gsr would probably take it.

These cars have just a difference in gearing. the SIRs shorter gears are better suited to high HP and low torque and the GSRs slightly longer gears are better suited for the higher torque...

I was thinking it'd be neck and neck 1st, 2nd and 3rd the GSR would be outa there!!!

It would be close but the gsr has much more top end. Also assuming they both have LSD sir would take off a little faster by a quater of a car or so, but in the end the gsr tourqe would catch up.
