First thing you did when you got your license/first car

When i went for my G2 test, I passed with flying colours..called my house and i told them that i failed...my mom was very motivating and told me that she'll pay for my next test and not to worry...my dad on the other hand, told me that im an agressive driver and thats why i failed...on the bright side i had a good laugh rubbing it in his face...but the craziest moment that day is my dad still didnt trust my driving skills and gave me a route to my house where I dint have to make ONE left turn, so i pretty much drove a big circle making all right turns to get to my house LOL

My first time buying my first car, it was a 2003 Acura EL...I matched my color and dressed in black and drove with the moon roof open and nearly got pulled over for speeding...stopped at Canadian tire and spend a fortune on all the maintainence products..including the ones that i dint even need LOL

first car was a 1992 Accord that i bought off my parents when i was 17. I spent the first day or two cleaning it completely out and installing my new cd player and speakers. was out cruising around after dropping my gf off and some goof ran a red light and wrote my car off. had it for 2 1/2 days. went from sparkling clean to a crumpled mess in seconds.

^lol^ that is something my dad would do hahaha...
first thing i did was... DO UP my parents corolla... its in the other rides section LOL... i didn't make it into a monstrosity it was alright lookin.. I also spent an arm and a leg at crappy tire for every single mothers/meguiars product... i joined a COROLLA forum... which got shut down.. and re opened recently.. I sped like crazy on the 401 in the automatic corolla pretending to be a stick driver... 1-2-D hahahahahha sad especially when its a 1.6L 3 speed slushbox.... started to throw in headers intake exhaust.. lowered it and slapped on rims and thought i was even more cool lol...... then i snapped into reality and calmed down with my driving and became a normal driver.... then i got my civic and now i can have some REAL fun... btw im not putting my corolla down its getting its treatment soon enough 4AGE Blacktop TURBO... even if its gonna take years... was still my first love.. lol

My first car was an inherited '89 Pontiac Bonneville. I had a system in the thing since I had my G1 though, my buddy and I installed it in grade 10 lol. Just went cruising when I got my G2, nothing to really look back on and smile. I hated that car, the thing always broke down when I was with a girl.

When I bought my (standard) civic like 6 months later, man that was awesome. My dad drove it home because I had only driven standard for like 20 minutes total my whole life and I was scared to stall. Then at home I was looking at the thing sitting on the driveway and I was like **** this. I jumped in and drove it around the block for like 20 minutes. That night I went to woodbridge to gino it up. Good times.

First thing when i got my G1 license was spin my dads dodge caravan tires right outside the test centre on the way back home cuz i wasnt used to the accelerator, lol, got preety pissed about it. then some crazy driving and cutting people off. OMG, trying to friggin parallel park was a B*TCH!, thing was so big and throtle was very sensetive to, but yea learned at last

then 1 week ago got my "own" first car, 2000 Honda Civic SE, all stock of course cuz of insurance purposes. took me about 4 days to learn how to drive it smoothly cuz its a manual and the dodge was automatic. Now gotta learn how to properly do some burnouts and replace the tires without him noticing

My first ride was a 2 Door, 5 speed reliant k. First thing I did that made a lasting impression was *drum roll*... huge mis-shift on queensway. almost went out the front window. LOL

When i got my g1. my dad decided to sell his 99 Prelude SH. Man i miss that thing!!! but before he gave it over to the dealer, he let me drive it. First time behind the wheel, and i had the pleasure of driving a manual lude. "It's not gone well" as Clarkson would say. I stalled that thing 7 out of 10 times. Wasnt used to the gas pedal, let alone the clutch. Anyways, my dad got bored of me jerking the car in first. so after about 45min or so, we went home, and the next wkened the baby was gone =( *tear*

When i got my g2. Parents didnt let me drive alone for a few months (understanable). But when they did. I rememeber packin all my friends into the family Mazda MPV (7 of us), and just cruizing to lunch with the windows rolled down and the music on loud. We'd get dirty looks from ppl cause it was quite literally a van full of kids. haha

My civic IS my first car. I was (and still is) on top of the world. Love the car. No power.. no power whatsoever (esp when all of my dad's cars are v6's with 240+ hp). But it didnt matter. It was MY car. Civic nation as would put it. It still handled great, light. And i remember i made a mix cd JUST to listen to it on the drive home with the car! haha. I cant remeber all the songs, but i beleive this was the first song that played YouTube - Usher ft. Young Jeezy - Love in This Club *OFFICIAL VIDEO* (i think it might've been the only song that didnt skip on that pos radio that was on there. HAHA

Total independence overload moment..... that same month I got 4 tickets ohhhh what it was like to be young and stupid

first thing I did when I got my first car, my rsx, I had to work that morning, luckily my work was across the street from the MTO, sooo I did all that fun stuff and started at it through my desk window, 5pm came and I spent the night at my local tims hangout showing my friends

yeah, first ticket was for having an empty bottle of liquor in my backseat. It was a horrible experience actually. I wasn't drinking, I went to visit from friends at a party, it was raining or cold or whatever the reason was and my friends came outside. I was parked in the driveway soo we just sat in my car talking. I haven't seen the people in YEARS annnnd then 5 minutes later cops raid the house it was retarded. Everyone was asked to get out of the car so my friend left his liquor bottle in my car, cops searched and BAM i get a ticket. I was like wtf I wasn't drinking, my car is off and the keys are in my purse. But whatever, I took it to court, cop never showed

2nd ticket I was pulled over for speeding, was doing 'x' km over the speed limit, cop pulled me over, accused me of racing a civic. Fyi, I was driving my mom's Echo at the time. I was like noooo I wasn't. He was like why were you speeding, I played the I'm lost and can't find my way home game and it worked. I got off with getting a speeding ticket and the cop gave me a ticket for my insurance slip being expired which I later took to court and that also got dismissed.

3rd ticket, opp pulled me over for doing 60km in a 40km... didn't bother fighting it

4th ticket, yrp pulled me over for doing 90km in a 60km, was reduced to 70km in a 60km... didn't bother fighting that one either

..... well this was all 4-5 years ago

yay me!! .....
