General Question

Hey, I just got an 05 civic se and I have a few questions...

Is the 05 the 7th generation, and is it the same as all the 7th gens. Just wondering because its hard to find aftermarket parts that say they're specifically for 05's, so I'm wondering would parts for 04's,03's,02's fit no problem?

Yes you have a 7th gen.

01-02 struts are different then 03-05. Some body panels are different. To be safe, I'd look for mechanical parts that are 03+ and body parts that are 04+.

Try the website http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/ for more info.

Ya...I've got an 05 Reverb....it's a Biatch tryin to find anything. It honestly depends on the parts you're lookin for. Som stuff from certain years work and others don't. Some require mods (I was told 03+ Tail lights fit, but you need to change the sockets). Basically....welcome to the club of owning a new car and trying to do mods. It's a pain. Next year should be a little better.

Nope. EP is the SiR hatch, ES is the sedan and EM is the coupe. To be positive, just check your VIN number.
