Which generation of the civics is the best generation!?

I honestly think the EG6 from 92-95 Hatchback is the best one of them all! This car has the best suspension available for it, and has the most tuner parts due to its popularity. Its lightweight, good looking, and has the old honda heritage to it.

Point of this thread is to express your opinion on a certain generation of the civic, and tell why you love it so much.

I like it that you like it.

I predict that before 2nd page starts, you gonna get people flaming left right and centre.

im gonna have to say that the 5th gen (92-95) hatchs are the best in my eyes

but i still love EF`s & EP3`s the most

i always say id trade my 2005 si coupe for a EG hatch i guess its cause it the generation ive never owned yet and they look so good

The EF's started the craze.. Most people got into it with the EG's....

Best ? well It's all a matter of taste. I prefer the boxy ef's...because of the CRX.

The EF, everything after got bigger, wider, less sporty looking, and more economical looking inside, EFs are the rawest which makes them the most fun

No good can come of this thread...

Anyhow, before the flaming starts, I'd just like to say I like 'em all, dammit. The EFs are the oldest ones to make me sit up and take notice, although I still have a soft spot for EA CRXes whenever I see one of these rare beasts on the streets.

The 96-00 chassis (EK) is better than the 92-95 (EG) due to it's structural stability. this is stock for stock so the 96-00 is much stiffer and has far less body roll. i've noticed its also quieter in the EK but when it comes to swap time, the EG's suspension can be swapped with the DC's suspension and i heard that swaps were easier and better but im not too sure about the suspension swap with the EKs. i love both cars, but the way the hatch opens on the EG caught my heart .
