Last time on the 8th gen CIVIC SI Coupe, I remember reading the vin number starting with the number 2.

So its either canada, or america for the sedan.

Acura CSX lol why even bother buying it when the civic si comes with 197hp and lsd for 25k?

obviously im on the enthusiast side.
Because the CSX is a 4DR sedan and some ppl need a sedan instead of a coupe. Now that I know that we might get the Si Sedan I will definitely wait instead of getting the CSX or the EX.

Its just perfect....its possibly my next civic. I dont like the wing though...

Both CSX and EX lack power IMO....140/160 horses are not enough when you have a whole generation of car buyers looking for speed and muscle these days.

Well it doesn't really matter, but that wasn't always the case, only with the ek and ep it was the highest model in Canada. Before that, Si was the highest (i.e. ef, eg) or even before that there was no vtec variant.
And regarding the fact that it is the "the first time a Civic Si is available in two body styles." Wasn't the ef Si hatch available the same time as the Si crx? I could be wrong though, and again, it doesn't really matter.

I wouldn't hold your breath guys... Think about it, how many $30k CSX will sell if there's a $26k Civic that's almost identical (minus some amenities) with a way better drivetrain?

Si Sedan will be US only... (for now)

I would bet on a CSX-S though, let's see if they can keep it under $35k

Between the look of the CSX and the Si Sedan I would pick the CSX any day. That rear spoiler on the Si sedan just doesn't do it for me.

Now CSX Type S ... that is a thought!!!

CSX sales wont dive in my opinion cuz Acura buyers are a different breed than Honda Civic buyers. The average age of the EL sedan owners has been 40 to 50 for the past many years which just shows that these folks want luxury (leather / navi etc.) rather than speed.

I hope that the SI sedan comes to Canada. It is pefectly targeted towards young buyers who cant get a coupe (family/kids) but still want power and need to go fast.

I also do not like the wing at all...4 piston brembos for a family car...wow...i want one just for the brakes lol...

one question..

is a carbon fiber hood? or just painted differently?

also, does anyone else notice that the sidemirrors look very out-of-place to the design of the car?
