on a 2006 honda civic lx........i take delivery on october 22ndish............my bank account hurts

does nobody wait, i mean its the intro year, so many things will change in the next year on it
let honda work out the kinks that will be found
congrats though, i guess...imo after 00 they went downhill with civics style wise

I agree with that. It is a Honda product and they do not make crappy vehicles. When the 01 Civics came out, I think the only major flaw they had was with the front struts failing prematurly. Even if some bugs do appar, the car is under warranty.

Congrats anyway. Why di you get the Sedan if I may ask? What colour and options? The wife and I are still debating on an EX or an SI.

I got the LX coupe (2 door) i wanted an SI but I cant wait till november i need soemthing for the winter. and as for buying the first model year, someone has to be the ginea pig, and my 93 del sol was one of teh first off the line and i have had no problems with it. hell its at 175,000km and i havent done any maintanence on it other then oil and one set of brakes. oh ya i got silver cuz i hate black and evey other car ive owned is blue

you got the lx because you couldn't wait because of winter....come on you should have waited it out and drove your sol and got the Si

how much more for the Si?

I was told by the Leasing Manager at Image Honda that the dealers have not been told exactly how much the Si will be, but somewhere around $25 to $27. She also told me that there will also only be 5000 made for Canada. The EX is only $23 and thats why I like it. The Si will be a sweet car, but I just bought a house and can't afford it.

if i was planning and playing with this car i would have waited and gotten the SI, but this is straight commuter winter car. the LX gets 50mpg and thats more important than 197hp when im driving 100km to work

so would I but 18's full body kit and air ride doesnt do well in snow, plus it only gets 33mpg

IMO the coupe looks like a saturn

is the sedan coming in si like the 05's? i love how the 06 sedan looks, its like a tsx with a shorter wheel base

oh man its so nice, with an si engine itd be even better
