so i guess those 10 and 20 thousand dollar paintjobs decrease value of the car because it was repainted right and its not from factory.

it has nothing to do with being a boyscout and telling the truth about everything.
it has to do with spreading useful information on the internet. most of the **** on here is bull**** enough without having more crap put on top.

Actually painting it a DIFFERENT colour other than a factory colour will decrease the value to the people willing to buy this kind of car. The person who would buy this car is most likely an older professional and is not interested in a 10-20k candy, flake or tri-colour paint. There arn't too many people who want to drive a yellow or other bright coloured lexus, therefore, the value will be decreased.

I never said painted from the factory, I said factory or stock colour. I'm willing to bet that 90% of the people who would buy this car couldnt tell the difference between a factory paintjob or a decent aftermarket anyways.

But in those rare cases you find some kind with a trust fund or some wannabe pimp, they might like the colour on a lexus but thats rare. So like I said the best bet is to keep it a stock or factory colour.

I agree about the shoveling problem on teh interent.

But how many people are honest about the accident history? Do you customers tell the new buyers that the frame was recently straightened?

kumanan...i dont get why someone in kuwait import an older LS from Canada? Mostly people drive new and exotic cars in that state.
