I'm on Vacation in Japan!

Just got into Japan about two days ago and I am staying here for a about 4 weeks. Planning on buying some car parts for my Civic as I know someone who deals in the used car parts business here.

Has anyone had any prior experience exporting stuff from here? Not sure if it will be worth it at all to ship larger items like front bumpers or lips. Might just stick with smaller things (steering wheels, exhausts, shift ****)

Anyway plan on seeing some pics up sometime, cause there are so many Hondas here I've never seen in my life! not to mention how amazing JDM's here look

Dude, you're in Japan! I'm so jealous!!!

You have to visit Tsukuba and fuji and all the other cool race tracks they have.

definitely pay a visit to a honda dealership... i went in one when i was there. kinda funny that they are all green, where here they are all red... anyway, i went into one there and they gave me so much stuff to go home with it wasn't funny. i got a t-shirt, brochures for every model car, a dvd on the integra type r, even a little asimo doll for my daughter. they are very hopititable, if someone doesn't speak english, they will find someone who does that can help you. i'd love to go back some day. what amazed me the most was how clean everything was. you don't see litter anywhere on the ground like you do here. they have a great deal of respect for each other and the environment.

THere is a honda dealer right down the street from me
. It's hard though because a lot of the cars here look like our cars back at home with different names of course. I see a ton of Honda Fits here. I should go in there and see what prices are like. I am guessing they are crazy expensive. Stuff here is not that cheap

Most definetly. I don't speak Japanese though, my gf does she's lived here for 2 years before so I'll need to abuse the crap out of that haha. Definetly really clean here, and although I get funny looks when I walk around the people here are definetly really really nice. I saw two skylines when I walked downtown today I am going to around with my camera in a bit and see what I can find! expect to see some pics today! Like in a couple of hours haha

OK pictures are up! my favourite is the JDM Corolla "Exciting Version" Thanks for the info Kruption! I'll look it up on the map, man who would have though TCC would be better then going to a travel agent for trip advice haha. I'm actually in Sendai N.E of Tokyo

I have no idea what OPPAI is but I'll do it for a little while until I get punched in the face haha

I've seen two Type R Intergras and one Type R Civic (Newer One) it's hard though because all the sweet *** cars are usually in motion! THey love their coupes here and all the Hondas seem to have AWD .. its so unfair

By the way Kuruption I said OPPAI and this girl flashed me and yelled out KAWAIIIII so I have no idea what that word means. I also learned the word MANKO! HAHA
