Talking Official Shannonville cruise...check it out!

Hey all,

If anyone is interested, I'm hot lapping @ Shannonville May 2 & May 19. If you've never been to a road course, its a lot of fun whether you drive laps or just watch!
It's a great 1.5 hour cruise east of Toronto.
This is a perfect opportunity for us all to get together in a completely different setting and appreciate a totally different scene.
The cars you'll see on the track and in the pits are well worth the trip! Type R's, swaps, hybrids, open wheel racers, full track spec rides and the BONE stock!
I've run my first 12 events last year and I'm hooked.
I'll be more than happy to take anyone and everyone shotgun on my hot laps. If you want to drive the course, trail my car and I'll even show you the proper line.

more details to follow...

thx 4 da read....

I'd love to come watch, and participate.

I'll have my suspension installed in time forsure (the usual suspects)....KYBs, GSR rear lower sway, GSR LCAs, front upper tie bar, rear lower tie bar...along with my H&Rs.

Both days, as far as I know, there are no separated run groups.
Fast and slow cars will be on at the same time. If you can boot it, respect the slower cars and pass when it is safe to do so. If you are the slower car, don't hold up faster cars behind you...
signal which side you want them to pass you on or point.

It's a pure adrenaline rush. It takes the notion to street race right out of me...THAT'S A GOOD THING!

If you don't feel comfortable racing your own car, can someone bring a co-pilot in their car?

The driver is the one who has to pay. Free to be a passenger.

drivers have to sign waivers, pay fee, and wear wristbands...

Ok, so really, who wants to go?? I've been invited by friends from Ottawa, so I'm considering it. It would be cool if TCC members all rolled in with force, so I'm up for a cruize. 1nicesi, what say you... *IF* I can go, wanna do the cruize thing?
