R.i.p. Crx :(

due to oakville apprent loss of trucks salting the road.......... i smoked a curb doing 50 ( 10 under the limit )

driving along, and hit black ice as i was turning...... and nailed the curb.......... the bumper and front right tire took all the damage.....

the bumper is now a lost cause ( it was allready fucked from when i got hit by an escalade ) and the tire is pushed back so that its rubbing and barely turns....

the side skirt is cracked, the fender appears to be loose, the door looks kinda banged outta shape....

i have the worst ******* luck ever

week after i get the car........ some ******* t-bones me in an escalde while trying to show off to ppl that his dad let him take his escalade to skool....:fustrated

and now this....

i dont need this ****

i dunno what to do...

put it through insurance & get it fixed....... then somehow pull the $ for a new bumper outta my ***?

im tempted to just say **** it........ part everything out...... and get a peice of ****

sorry for ranting...... just needed to vent

Sorry Dopey, that sucks large... But look at Agent Orange's luck, now that man has some bad luck, but yours is right up there. Look, if the right tire took a beating from 50km/h curbing, there is likely to be some frame damage...which means it's a loss. Insurance won't fix that. So whatever you do, it's gonna be out of your pocket to fix it, unless you want to write the car off. Getting a JDM SiR front end for your rex is one option, just look at thepartstrader.com and other sites like it for parts. But if the subframe is damaged, a junker will have one for pretty cheap, or buy a complete stripped body from a junker. I say you should buy a hunker to drive the rest of the season, and rebuild over the summer, learning to do stuff as you go along...then you will have a winter/summer car, and your rex is gonna be as-new. When I say rebuild, if there is frame damage you can buy a shell and transfer all the parts, or if no damage, just strip it down to a shell, and rebuild with new bushings, new susp....everything!! It will cost you $5000 minimum over the next 2 years to have a MINT car again.

curbs and black ice bad combination sorry to hear that about your car man ... can't we the people sue cities for not properly salting roads I mean that is why I pay taxes....and paying taxes is like paying to get work done.... well in the commercial side if I pay to get work done and something ***** (like my car falling to pieces) then I'm going to want the company that did the work to fix it either paying me for the trouble to paying for repairs.... sue the city ...demand better salting of the roads sue sue sue sue sue sue

just my 2 cents worth

Hey...

If you need parts to fix the suspension.. My buddy's got a parts 88 Civic.. SO... we can pull the subframe and front suspension off that to fix it if you need.

Well.. sorry for the bad luck.

PHH wow that was Nice. Give me a break. Please don't try to make other people feel better by putting other people down. Agent_Orange does read the boards and it wasn't a very nice comment.

Not trying to start anything but it really wasn't Nice.

I could say wow i have a crappy life but then I could think about how bbarbulo has to drive around in ugly 4 door civic and how he's such an unlucky guy. OHHH Now I feel much better. NOOOOoo. See what I'm talking about

(This was just an example - what you said just wasn't nice and i'm not saying your car is ugly)

Just think about what you say before you post.

oopps, that wasn't supposed to sound like that. I think you're taking it out of context. I mean, you gotta admit he's had some bad luck through no fault of his own, and I was merely pointing out the fact that things could be worse than they are for Dopey. I'm not putting A.O. down at all...he's faired well with all the b/s that's come his way, like the cops investigating him, and the thing after new years... you know. So A.O. plz don't take offense to what I was saying. Luck isn't something we can bring upon ourselves, good or bad. So having bad luck isn't putting anyone down...you get what I'm trying to say? Like when you say...don't feel bad...your car could look like bbarbulo's ... that's saying that I have bad taste in modding. But if my car was to say, get run over by a tank, and then you say, don't worry you car could look like bbarbulo's then I'd say...well, yeah...I got bad luck. It's a small but important difference. Don't worry, I know most ppl haven't seen my car, so I don't take offense to your example...it's a good one.
