sup!

hey yall, i finally got my hands on a civic but i had been looking for a while so i found this site a while ago... just signed up now that i actually have the whip. i was hoping for a teg or si civ but hey, at least it's a 6th gen hatch so i don't mind it. came with a weak aftermarket sound system so i began by setting up some pioneers in the back, pioneer head unit, and i was hoping the front to be just as simple but it looks like the magnet's too big for a good fit so i'm gonna have to dremel that **** huh?

next up is brakes and tach... this is my first manual car so it's a bitch to be learning with no tach. engine is kinda mehhhh at 190k km anyway so i'm looking to replace that as well; preferably with the jdm version or any other direct swap. but yeah, i got plans, so i'll be stickin around for sure

thanks for the warm welcome too bad it aint so warm outside well at least i can make space in the kickpanel for the front speaker inside too, but anyone know how to get that panel off so i can bring it in? looks to me like it's just a few screws by the speaker and the rest is clipped but i don't wanna end up breaking anything.

haha i already hate the car had to take off the door panels today to saw off the speaker enclosures otherwise my phat new 250W pioneers wouldn't fit. trying to put it back on i somehow knocked a window out of it's frame so i managed to half-*** fix it during twilight but the seal is out of place now so there's still some world left to do on the plus side, i tested the speakers and they're badass! but still, the window thing was a negative.

now the car's in pieces and i can't really go anywhere happy new year anyway heh
