What a $30 membership is really worth!

I just wanted to share my story with Brett at Parkway Honda, our TCC affiliate.

To make a long story short....he's a great guy, and he saved me a ton of money I saved a total of $314 and got a free oil filter and VTEC T Shirt!

Just to give some people an idea of how much the savings is, these are some of the parts that I bought. 30% is 30% but when you see it, you'll get my point!

Front lip....$131.44 with discount $81.81

On this part alone my membership paid itself!!

Door Garnish....$122.97 with discount $76.54
Relay Assembly $83.50..with discount $53.00

Moral of the story: A membership pays for itself......even if you only use it once at one place!

Two thumbs up to Brett at Parkway

I've bought many many parts from Brett. My membership has also paid for itself from Parkway alone.

I totally agree. I've driven from Hamilton to get parts before.
front brake pads $54, timing belt and water pump $140. Even if you never attend a meet or never post on the board, it's still worth it.

So what are you waiting for? Go to a meet and get yourself a membership card.

oh snap!!....with TAC only 15% is offered at Roadsport....damn...

Something I'll look into (30% is pretty good)....having a TCC membership, driving an Accord..lol

Anyway...Parkway is pretty cool they have the Laser alignment stuff for lowered cars and they're pretty mod friendly....is the discount good for service and parts...or just parts?

The $30 is peanuts, considering all the perks. Its definitely worth it for anyone considering it.

I agree, the membership definitely pays for itself at Parkway alone.

One thing I have noticed, however, is people getting the same deals as paid members at every other affiliate. At most, all they have to do is drop 'TCC' on the first phone call and it's all good.

I've only been here a little over a year and it seems that all of the paid member perks from most affiliates have disappeared. The deals are still excellent, though, so it doesn't really make a difference to me, but it used to be 'X' amount for people on the board and 'X - 10%' or something for Paid Members. I don't really see that anymore. Maybe it's just me not using my membership to its full potential, though.

The only place I have ever had to use my card was at Parkway.

Anyway, no big deal, TCC rocks for all their hard work in bringing us the best deals and best service.

can't really do much with a paid membership, i live in Belgium, so i won't have any discounts or something else.
