What to inspect for when picking up new CRV tommarow?
The car was destined to the dealer on Thursday, today when out with my cousin (Friday) I saw a truck full of CRV's, well I bet they sure are working hard! The waiting list said July but my dad said it'll be earlier , we are going to pick it up today (Saturday).
Anyone, what exactly do we inspect to make sure it is fully prepped? Anything extra things to look out for, gonna take a test drive, should my dad do a full throttle start but the FAQ said no hard throttles for the break-in period.

When you do you Inspection, take your time. Alot of people are so excited to get behind the wheel, they really botch up this very important step of buying a new car.
#1 Look at all the gaps in panel and molding jobs on the car to make sure all the pannels are nice and flush and that gaps are even.
#2 Look for orange peel effect on paint, yes even on a new car direct from the factory. Manufacturers have 3 surface levels in which they grade. so get down and check the level 3 surfaces eg, area around wheel wheels. This is your only opportunty you really have to complain about those things.
Most manufacturers also give you 1 year unlimited adjustments, so if thing start to loosen up and rattle once you start driving it, the manufacturer will fix those things. So make sure you listen for those sounds once you put some clicks on it. Examples would be a rear gate rattle, folding seats coming loose, headlights... etc.
Thats all i can think of for now.... um spend the same effort looking at the interior.
