*Help* Cell Phone Got Washed!

It was in my pants and my mom decided to wash my clothes without thoroughly searching... now my cell phone has been sinked in water with detergeant for a good 10minutes, right now the lights are on, no screen, can't do anything. The battery is inside the phone, its new too. What can I do? I used the blowdryer and blow dryed it for 10minutes on warm.

well turn the freaken thing off first and open it up and dry it out .. for 3 days!!! then reassemble and try if it doesn't work then ohh well ... your 15 ain't it time to do your own laundry??

I wouldn't recommend a blow drier the heat can damage components...

in that case it was in a ziploc bag... but still electronics can stand up to water ... so long as you know how to dry them out....

I cant turn it off, some smart *** decided to go Internal Battery and I can't open it ( I used to fix cellular phones, I got some tools and experience ) but that will require me to remove the warrenty sticker. I'll just let it run out of battery, wait 1 week than ask for warrenty.

whats the model of your phone? all phones have a power button... so that you can turn them off when in meeting and theatres and stuff like that...

Dry it really good..

REALLY GOOD..

Pretend you didn't %@%&$ up phone..

Take back and ask for a replacement nicely..

If you ask nice enough you should get one...
