I suppose RARELY is not a prob, as long as yer not baggin on it. I effing hate paying over a buck, too. I ususally put in 94, but 91'll do just fine fer now.

The gas price is maddening, but look at it this way.
If gas is $0.98 or $1.08, the difference on a full tank of gas is like three bucks.
It's not the price that makes me mad, it's the fact that nothing anybody says or does (short of invading a country and pillaging innocent people) can make the price go down. There are a lot of factors, but I say that the OPEC people are dikks.

LOL....it's $2.45 US a gallon here...I'm trying to hold off as long as possible but I think I'm running on fumes...and will need to gas up today. With the exchange rate and converted to liters...it's 80 cents CDN a liter.

I'll be back for Labor day weekend....so it'll be interesting to see how much gas in the GTA will be then.

Well, if we're still hovering around $1/liter then come labour day weekend you're going to be in for a big surprise

I still have the 1.5 liter and run 87 octane...so, i cant really complain...although paying over a dollar for gas is still a kick in the bollocks.

I dont feel sorry for whining SUV drivers...couldnt they see the rising gas prices when you bought their cars. If you want to feel like a big shot on the road, my parents 2004 MPV minivan (V6 200hp) still gets 30mpg...so

Ya I can only buy 94 so i Don't care about over a buck a litre. No point in whining since it will only go up.
And Quit ragging on Hemi's. If you don't like Hemi's you are of the Homosexual type. A Ram with a Hemi is a REAL truck. And its got Cylinder Deactivation and run's on 4cyl's when your cruising. So if you don't get the Tow gear's and you drive Moderately there not that bad on gas. Not that bad on gas considering you can tow over 4ton's, and NEVER get stuck in bad weather. Can you say that about your Honda? And hell. It could even beat most Civic's in a straight line on top of being so Versitile. I Personally love the Hemi. Damn nice. Good move on Dodge's part to Introduce a Modern one. With gas prices going up people are STILL buying Hemi's as fast as they can make them. Now that's impressive.

unless you have to tow 4 tons on a regular basis I don't see the need to buy a HEMI (or a large truck/SUV for that matter) when we are in a gasoline crisis.

Unless, like Dr. K already said, you dont want to feel like a homosexual in a small car so you need a big bad truck to prove you're straight...in which case i think gas prices are the least of your problems.
