He's a great defensive forward. Look for Peca to play against the other team's top line. Other than that, he's average...another player who is getting paid for stuff he did 5 seasons ago.

Who cares really! I dislike Hockey with a passion, and basketball. I only watch Formula 1 and the real football, not this North American stuff. Although I will admit its not bad.

Anyway, as far as the leafs go, they will never win and personally their fans are some of the dumbest I have ever encountered. The simple fact that there fans support them when they dont produce just goes to show you something. What do I mean? Why would Harrold Ballard invest any money into players (now there is a cap, not before) when the fans continue to buy out all the tickets? He could hire AAA players that have never been heard of and still sell out everynight. My point? Spend very little, profit on overpriced tickets, who only buisness men buy, but never attend, and when they do, only cause its fashionable. Wont see another cup here for another few decades. So loyal to even their worst players. I just dont understand. Why was Domi even signed last year? Cause he felt insulted that the leafs offered him very little, well, he does very little. The days of tough guy players are over. Its all about skill.

The leafs... HA!

Toronto fans support the Leafs night in night out because they're not bandwagon jumpers. They have one team they're passionate about and they stick to it. You're right, you just don't understand.

rapz will do better... but i'm not feeling our coach mitchell, we should fire him at some point...

our team is pretty much changed... like 10 new players hahaha... that's like more than half our roster is being changed...

the east in basketball is easier than the east in hockey i believe...

in hockey, our rivalry ottawa is kicking our ****... but in basketball, its never too late to sneak into 6-7-8th seed as long as you tweak your lineup in time if anything goes wrong =)

i say raps has close to 50/50 of making playoffs.... still a long way from anything too good, but playoffs is not far away...

GO RAPZ GO!

No I wasn't actually talking about any team, I was poking fun at the Toronto Does speed line above that post

To tell you the truth I love practically any Toronto team no matter what happens. But to be honest I am not to enthusiastic about either team. The raps did a lot of changes but I don't see any particular player that is a team saviour, same with the leafs. The players have changed but that's not always necessarily a better thing. Not all change is for the better. Especially with the raptors, we're signing all these guys but really who cares, they more then half the guys we signed have next to nothing to show in the NBA. But even with that said I think the Raps will do better. How exactly are we going to compare? We talking just str8 wins or winning % here.?

I know what you mean about the acquisitions for the raps...TJ Ford is the only guy I really have faith in right now...the rest of the new guys are just mediocre players or newbs...

The leafs have done some work on Defense and our new coach will probably give the younger guys more time, which is a good thing with the new rules.

I think both teams have made progress and taken steps in the right direction, so it's something to be happy about. Whether or not we play any better is still up in the air. Anything can happen in sports; that's the beauty of it.
