Any substance dependancy is a weakness whether it be coffee or it be pot. If you NEED something on a regular basis or feel anxious or lost when you're going without, you're an addict whose life is controlled by that substance, regardless of how you try to rationalize your addiction.
Lack of self-control is weak. Must stop being a bitch about it, even if one must suck on a pacifier.

Great advice!

Well, I make it a point to avoid substance addiction by regularly varying my consumption routines. I don't have a regular morning coffee habit or an evening drink one. I'll enjoy either if the mood strikes me, but not miss either is the mood doesn't strike me.

Besides, once ingesting a particular substance becomes a matter of regular run-of-the-mill habit, it quickly loses its sense of being a special enjoyable pleasure. And when it becomes an outright must-have addiction, it becomes a millstone around your neck.

quitting smoking cigarettes FTMFW!!!

I quit like 4+ years ago and I don't miss it one bit. I do however splurge on a nice cigar once in a while, but I don't inhale.

I smoked for 8 years, a pack a day, what a waste of money.

This is a discussion/argument/debate. The whole point of COMMUNICATION. Never take anyone's words too seriously.
This is where we learn from thoughts and opinions. There is always a point of change and understanding.

I will quit the cigs this year. Ganja?...i enjoy consuming at night (midnight toker) when i want to chill and get some good sleep. Booze? Freakin hate it as much as i enjoy it.

I wish cigs and booze were not accessible. Though a group Hookah session is freakin awesome, yet not addictive.

I'm either going to cut down or drink more this summer. I haven't decided yet.
