if you don't like rust you won't like jeeps, they rust rather quickly. you could just cover up the rust with diamond plate, seen a lot of people do that. its jeep rice if you ask me.

I've got no rust what so ever on my 94 GC.
I think it's in how well you take care of the thing.

I've seen some newer GC, 96-97ish, rusted to hell and beyond. Just a matter of looking at what's out there.

I know you meant the TJs, YJs and CJs. I was just using our GC as an example.
It's all in how the thing was looked after.

I don't know why people think that aluminum plating crap looks good either.

Can the hard tops be taken off as well or just the soft top on the Jeeps?

And if the hard tops come off, is there any room to bring the with you in case of rain?

I was thinking they might be in sections, like roof, sides and rear. Can you use both soft and hard top on the same vehicle? Like if I wanted the hard top for the winter and soft for the summer?

Make sure when you buy it comes with the hard top, those things are pricey when bought aftermarket or so I've been told.

I know with my cousin's TJ you won be able to fold the soft top up cause it has support bars in it. You can buy aftermarket tops that turn the Jeep into a two seater. You might be able to fold those up.
