5:45 am Wake Up
#21
My alarm goes off at 6:00 for my 72km drive to work. I leave at 7:10 and an hour and 15 minutes later I am at work. At 5:00 the cycle starts all over again. Luckily I am carpooling for now so that 72km doesn't go on my car every day. Come the winter time, I am not sure what to do about the snowbelt I work in. GO Transit is much to expensive and would take over 2 hours.

another +1 for St Kitts
Steves got it right.
I love driving in St Kitts, no traffic, so lax, its great.
I hate driving downtown. We try to just do jobs in around the mississauga/oakville/burlington/hamilton area. We try to stay away from downtown.
-Too much money wasted in parking
-Too much wasted in getting there in traffic
Just a waste in general.
I cringe when I get a service call down there, esp. after 2pm lol

spent 13 hrs at the lab today...working like a dog. i dont take breaks...really, i dont...i refuse...waste of my time. ok ok ok, i lied. 2 of those hrs were spent travelling to and from and waiting at the hospital for my pre-op assessment. but then i went back to the lab. got home and now analyzing data for another hr and a half so that i can properly set up my next set of experiments tomorrow...yay! and my data looks like poo so far...yay!

When I worked at the courier place, I used to work the morning shift which was 4am-9am......then 4pm-7pm....split shifts and went to school during the day...
So pretty much my day started at 3:30am till about 9-10:00pm. Long day but thats what allowed me to afford my civic and all the other toys I had.....

Early mornings, while sometimes difficult, are almost the best part of the day. One job I had, I loved going into the office really early, before the frazzle of the day began--it was sooooo quiet, and made it possible to really focus.
Of course, an X-Lge Dbl Dbl from Timmies was a necessity.
