50 Cent: The Massacre

guess the album title is correct...this is a massacre, completely horrible...it dont get much worse than this...big name producers and a whack emcee...thank goodness for downloads cuz I feel bad for anybody that spends 15bucks on this cd...the tune "Ryder Music" produced by Hi-Tek has so much potential with the exclusive hi-tek sound cept 50 isnt a hi-tek type emcee and it all comes to a train wreck of sound...

whats music comin to these days?

this happens all the time in music...all popular music comes to a point where it sits for a few years waiting to be shot dead and when that time finally comes a new breed will come and take over the scene and hopefully revolutionize it.

look at the hair bands of the 80's, you couldn't get bigger than bands like Poison and Motley Crue, but they all started to dry up and no one wanted them anymore, and thats when the change started to happen and you saw a new band emerge and breath new life into rock n roll and pop music...that band was Nirvana and all of their followers.

i'll be the first to admit that we need a new change to come very soon and to change not just rock and rap but all the music thats played on radio and sold in stores

ya but it would never be as big as straight up rock or even rap i don't think.

i took a very short listen to 50's new disc and it doesn't sound to great at all, he sounds sloppy and the beats suck...it won't get the true listen till i put it in the car...my listening booth

who did do the producing? i hope Dre wasn't behind this...from what i heard it didn't sound like Dre beats

dre, eminem, hi-tek, c-style, etc etc etc...about 6-7 total producers are on it and all pretty weak cept that one forementioned hi-tek track which 50 completely ruined

Ashlee simpson's album is way better than this...and yes I do have it lol...downloaded of course, she a cute kid...I'd do her

not one track is lyrically up there...but its 50cent so I guess thats not to be expected, for the most part production is pretty elementary not very good efforts by any persons part cept hi-tek on "ryder music" that beat is pretty smart...other than that its a weak weak weak album especially from the g-unit frontman

i thought E had something to do with it...now that is someone who is on there way out, unless his next album is as good as his first or second

hate it or love haven't heard it yet, but that was a good track from the games cd

but mostly everything we hear is "commercial" rap, some of it is good, and saying that its not good because its "commercial" isn't a very good statement, in my opinion

now saying somehting like, he knows he's hot so he's gonna milk it as much as he can....thats a better statement

now don't get me wrong, go out and get what ever you can while your hot...but make what you do worth buying for the people, i mean Jay-Z was constantly "hot" and he always gave me something worth listening too.
I was never not happy with one of his albums

but true about commercial rap, i still like it / hate it, its like all kinds of mucis, the album in not 100% good but not 100% bad, just needs some better rymes / beats...
