Jazz>Blues>Soul Music>R+B>House Music>Rap Music> ???(Whats Next?)

Like anything else once commercial the underground/cool appeal is gone..

I believe the gangsta / OG thing is played beyond reproach.

I would agree with CyniKal that D+B/Jungle would be the next big step..

It already has caught the ear of advertisers appealing to a youth segment.

And we all know the youth want something new...

Or so they think..

For me music is like food..

Prefer some but most is unacceptable..

50 Cent and the whole G-Unit are hurtin if you ask me..

Marketed and sold like bitches..

My 2 cents, and 48 cents your change..

That makes 50 cents...

it actually goes blues<jazz<soul<funk<disco<rap

yes rap is a Predecessor of funk and disco lol

also crunk music has taken a huge stab in the rap scene couldn't crunk music be a successor of rap not that its successful lol....it just sounds good @ clubs! because crunk is not rap music ill tell you that much but its in the genre and ciara and lil john have some huge hits...

I d/led it too, i don't mind it mostly for the beats, but 50 was never a lyrically tight rapper, it's more about the beat and ya it's 'commercial rap' there are many worse albums out there that i can think of...

it was worth the hour it took to d/l... that's about it, but def not worth money, not even fifty cents.. hahaha damn i'm funny today...

im pretty sure if this album didnt hit the net first it would have been up the on the charts for record sales this year but now everyone has a good week to either wait till it comes out to buy it or download it now for free right now... this is really gonna hurt his sales... personnalyy i dont think the albums that bad at all... if anyone wants to hear it pm me i have it on a dedicated box BUT IF YOU LIKE IT BUY IT!! im probably gonna grab it...

Yeah.. as a lot of you have said.. rap music is all seemingly becoming the same.. even a lot of 50's song... they all sound the same to me..
Time to go back to house music.. or some Deep Soulful Jazz...
Theres no need for soo much swearing and talking about bitchs sucking ur long jon
Although all time favourite song of mine is "Ludacris - Hoe Song"
I just laugh every time i hear it.. hahaha.. I says that uz a HOOOOE!!!!... hahaha...
