I read this story this morning in the paper...damn...a freighter carrying 5000 brand new cars to US and Canada from Japan started to take water....



All crew has been evacuated..dont know if they save the ship though...u can imagine what would have happened to the cars already since the ship is listing 90 degrees already...lol

Somebody told me there were alot of new 07 Nissans in there...

not when they get dunked under water lol

 

a lil water damage...still good

 

imagine the water pollution due to all the gas and fluids in there.....

 

how the hell would they get that ship back? 30 tug boats? lol

 

apparently it's a bunch of mazdas... so meh... lol

and each car only has about 1 - 2 gallons of fuel in it when they ship to save weight, so it's bad, but not nearly as bad as if they were all full..

im sure there will be one hell of a mess in there already...i dont think the straps can hold onto the entire wieght of the car for that long...this beast has been listing for well over 24 hours...

lets swim over there and save new Muranos and CX7s...lol
