You're forunate that you rolled it on snow and assuming grass instead of sliding down the road. Saved your paint for sure. I'd say you walked away pretty well from that incident considering what happened. I don't see how you're paying so low for a bran new Civic. I pay 213 a month on a 92 coupe and a spotless record. Anywho... thank your lucky stars man.

Did you decide to pay out of pocket or insurance?
Thanks. Out of the pocket all the way (well the line of credit to be more precise). I get jus slightly less **** raped in the worst-case scenario (in case I get in an[other] at-fault accident within the next short while).

Well, there was actually no grass, as it was completely covered in snow (as you can see in the pics of the actual roll). I did have to repaint a fair amount of it, but I do believe that it was less than half :-)
What do you mean that I'm paying for low for a brand new Civic? Are you referring to insurance, or the car itself, or...?

Insurance.. I think.

under $300 is really really really good for someone on their own insurance driving a brand new car, considered high risk.

Hmm, and why did you decide to assume that I was on my own insurance? ;-) Also, I don't believe I'm quite considered a high risk. Hence my not making this claim :-D

well you said in another post that if you were on your own insurance it would be about 225 or something a month, so I am assuming your with your parents insurance, and any male under the age of 25 (and female) is considered high risk

Sounds about right. I believe Bel-Air told me that at 23 my insurance rate would go down by A LOT :-o Keeping in mind that I've been doing research as to how much I'd pay if I were to move to Toronto, for eg, seeing as I might have a job there soon :-D

Well, if that were to sarisfy me, I'd be saving A LOT of cash. But since you missed paint for one, I'd be driving a multi-colour supposed "brand new" vehicle, and that wouldn't quite do it for me. Plus I'd rather have new parts for wutever isn't easily fixable. Wouldn't want my supposed "fixed" door skin to fall appart when someone were to lean on it for eg ;-)

Well, the peeps that were offering to set me up that way couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't, so I decided to actually get the parts that needed replacing replaced :-D

And yeah, paint usually helps ;-)

Yes, there would be consequence. You might be dead or badly injured.

Yup, that would be a significant consequence. ;-)

I guess. Doesn't really concern me that much, unless I'm permanently injured (dyin' would be fine with me) :-D
