Not sure if im right or not, but to me, the evidence seems wrong. That stuff about the sun rising exactly in the middle of the pyramids, or tracing the sphinx's head, wouldnt all that depend where you are standing?
I can position myself in a place so that the sun rises exactly between two buildings very easily. Does that mean the aliens built them? :O

Kev, Mexico's main pyramids may have just got closed off to tourists. you were apparently able to walk around on the stairs.. etc... when i was in cancun.. they said that was the last year they were gonna let people cause of wear and tear and preservation... but they had said that the year before as well.. check it out and go now if you can still if that is the case... i was going to go.. but we got really drunk the night before and didn't wake up till like 2pm..
premium dude... that's not evidence.. nor should it be referenced as such.. i'd call it childish beliefs or someone's imagination gone amok!

the simplest answer, the most reasonable answer is usually the correct one.
Any other sort of speculation is nothing but religion.

I think most of that article is crap...
Anyways the pyramids were more then just a place to bury a dead king. they contained the life story of that king and his kingdom at the time.
also it's not hard to line the pyramid up tot he East west north south points. the Eygptians were a society whose calender was based around the movements of the sun. Hell they even knew the world was round. and were able to calculate the diameter of the earth (slightly off but hey stone age tools) it involved an experiment using 2 holes dug very deep and recording the movements of the sun from those holes ... using that information you can calculate how large the earth is. I don't have all the details but it's a simple thing to do. found it in a math text book once.
as for building the pyramids.. Dudes it was the stone age. if tehre was one thing they knew how to do it was work with stones. as for the credit card theory sure tahts easy to do .. bring 2 bricks of the same type and I bet I can lay them side by side on the ground so that you can't place a credit card between them... and I have no knowledge of stone Masonry, so if I can do it. they surely could of. of course they used bigger bricks but they would toil to move that brick till it was where they wanted it to be. they didn't have today's society of lazyiness, you know the "it's good enough" attitude... they were building a place to bury their king it had to be perfect....

wow, that was poorly written and superficial. what a piece of garbage. hahahhah who wrote that?
oh, and as for them not having today's work ethics..^^ that's because the pyramids were built by slaves

actually there's evidence (saw on the discovery channel I watch too much tv) that the pyramids were built by paid workers and not slaves... this is because of all the skill required to cut the bricks correctly.... of course the slave theory is still a popular one and still does have some merit

you can train slaves which would turn them into skilled workers.
you can feed them well and take care of their physical and emotional needs.
make people feel like a part of something and you'll be surprised at what they can be manipulated into.
Give a person the choice between immortality in the afterlife and a hard working but comfortable life... and the option of dehydrating to death in the desert... you'll find a lot of 'slaves'
