how can you really tell if the iphone being sold (privately) is the 3G iphone and not the old version?

new- white or black plastic...

you won't find too many 3Gs for sale quite yet...I'm sure there will be some however

Rogers is a complete rip off.... The plans for the Iphonse start at 60 bucks and you only get a 150 mins with 400 mb and then they want you to pay 30 bucks for an extra 6gb of data space.. AT&T offers 40 bucks for 450 mins unlimited evening and weekends and unlimted roll over minutes with unlimited data.... Rogers is a complete rip off...

^ that is being discussed over several weeks now....there was a petition as well...media coverage but that happens in a free market. even with these rediculous rates....there is strong demand

your allowed any voice plan you want (current ones at least, as long as they are up to $30), OR the iPhone plans, OR add $30 to your voice plan and get 6gb...

ATT does NOT offer that plans for $40, well its $40 for the voice and another $30 for data...

The Rogers plan is incredibly fair considering (with the exception of the 3 year contract)...

6gb IS unlimited (ATT caps theirs at 5gb), plus if you need more then 6gb (thats 3.5 hours of Youtube a day), you need a life....(remember the iphone doesn't support tethering...)

ya, who knows it might get extended..its also not an iPhone specific plan (also targeted towards the Bold)...

It's also only limited time to sign up, once your on contract, you get it for the 3 years (presumably)

I have mine waiting at rogers right now...systems were down so they couldnt process it...they only had 8gb left...so whatever...who needs 16gb!?!
