yup, pwnage tool 2.1 is out already!
pwned my EDGE iPhone last night, now running 2.0 firmware (with app store) ..works great...although strangely, not many apps which interest me.. (I have facebook, the remote, and thats about it)...
Kind of disappointing the facebook app doesn't have the 'news feed'...the chat is nice though...
waiting for an MSN client via app store now...

In answer to the voip questions a couple pages back, the best solution that I've found for a sip gate (the final link between the internet and normal phone lines) is voipstunt.com
You have to download the PC program to register but once you do that, you can log in using any standard sip capable device (*cough N95*) to make calls. If you drop in $10 (maybe euros), you get 180 days of free calls to a lot of places (NA and most of Europe) and the rest of the rates are good.
Truphone is amazing, as in people can't tell if you're calling using it. Your cell # shows up in caller id and the quality is awesome. It used to be free though and I haven't bothered topping up my account. They're charging about 5c/min for NA calls so it still beats daytime minute charges if you go over on your cell.

Oh man, what a waste of time. The guy is a genius if he will sell the app because he didn't put any money into it yet he'll make tons by selling it.

Now for a personal phone/media device, I'm still waiting on more details about the Storm/thunder...I'd rather have that extra phone surface real estate for video/surfing then the keyboard (like the iPhone)...for personal use
