high end consumer devices dont need to wait for special occassions to "go on sale" as they sell themselves at whatever price point...its the cheaper consumer devices that need that xmas push and deals to move units...iphone never had deals for xmas or never will I figure

Yeh but when do consumers care about sales stats when all they really care about is themselves getting their own unit. People aren't buying bb's or iPhones based on stats they are buying them based on advertising and PRICING, the best deal, the best effort a company is making in effort to draw MORE consumers. Waiting until xmas for the best deal is very common because it's when you get to see who's making the best efforts to reach the customer...
You do realize that the majority of BB users are business users and many of those business users have their's paid by their company?
You think large companies care about sales?

I'd like to know who they interviewed for that article.
Their first question should have been "how does the iPhone work with your enterprise email system?"
None of the 5 "factors" really have anything to do with "business". Some people may think it's easier to use, but at the same time it doesn't work anywhere near as well as a BlackBerry does in a corporate environment nor is it anywhere near as secure.
I'm guessing they just interviewed every day joe's who own an iPhone and "use it for business" not actual corporate customers (because barely any exist).
