i know same

BUT, i think iphone is more suitable for my needs.

N95 is packed with stuff, and iphone lacks a lot still, but what iphone does it does it best

so does this new Iphone has same gps functionality/gps software as N95? or is it some apple home brew gps application?

True GPS support is a huge leap over the current solution on the iPhone, which uses triangulation of towers to determine the iPhone position relative to themselves. This is also known as A-GPS, or assisted GSPS. GPS is much more efficient

so it has true gps or A-gps?

it has agps like the n95 uses data and sat info or sat info alone to get positioning.
