I was in the same boat as you dude, and getting all pissed off about the situation is warrented but don't let if affect how people view you. Take the high road.
I dated my girl for three years, treated her like Gold, she made a lot of promises which she ended up breaking in the end and I still tried to get her back. Best thing to do is just try to forget and move on. Not all girls are ******, but a lot of them don't have there heads on right, same with guys...it just takes time to find out that does have there act together.
If she isn't at that point in her life to realize what you were offering, then find someone that is. There's probably 2 million woman in Toronto, so your odds are pretty good

I know pretty much all the girls in town from the ages 18-24, and I still haven't been able to find any decent girls... I met one that seemed amazing from Toronto at my club a couple weeks back, but I put her number in my phone wrong, and I can't get a hold of her...

I believe you can meet nice girls in bars... they just won't be the ones you see every night... you need to find the ones that only come out every now and then...

Hell, the girls from the club... they're nice, and they like to drive hooked up cars... what more can you ask for!?

These generalisations means that these fellas are usually sensitive to the heart. They value the pressence of a nice woman. The hasty generalisation usually comes from being hurt by someone they cared deeply for.

I would never give anyone the upperhand in my life... if I were to ever be lucky enough to find someone, I'm sure the sacrifices would be made both ways... it's just at this point in my life, I would kind of like to have someone to be around and that I could spend a good deal of time with... I'm sick of the meaningless relationships that the bar scene has brought me accustomed to...

I just don't want it to get to the point where I won't have anyone... gettin worried in my "old age" I guess...

I agree with ya barrieciv as in the "jerks" mainly get the girls.
JSK brings up a good point too. To take it a step further to what JSK said society is extremely biased.
If a guy is with like 8 girls he's a "stud" player, if a girl does the same she's a *****/****. (not to mention the possibility of STD's and pregnancy)
Now, most guys won't pay attention to a girl if she's not willing to "give it" (sad but true I've seen many examples) and many girls think that they have to "give it" in order to be with a guy.

I personally don't think the bar/club scene is the best place to meet the future hubby/wife.
Its a damn meat market!

I think I finally met a decent girl and she likes me for me. I hope things go well!
