This happend to me once, It might have happened somewhere else but the gas station is where I got scammed. THe charges just kept coming in. My mom got a call later in the evening and they asked if she had made a $3000 purchase at some electronics place. She said hell no and cancelled the card. Now we only pay cash at the gas stations
Too many scammers

So did the cc company take care of the charge??

Yo, when I worked at Petro Can, there was a gas station down the street (another Petro Can) that was know to be scamming ppls debit AND credit card numbers and sending them to be used in the Middle East...the guy who owned the station was Middle Eastern...got caught and was in the Ottawa Citizen paper, and then at my other work (Industry Canada) ppl were asking me if I've been scamming numbers...but I knew nothing about this since I was woking so much I just worked and slept...literally, so I only found out about it later.

If ya keep records of what you buy then it'll help track down the criminals.
I pay with my interac and credit card most of the time, but if the place scares me then I keep goin or I'll pay with cash.

CivicOverdose, cops will just tell you they are too busy "solving murders" when in fact we all know they are on here looking for "speed racers" I once had a written death threat, and they told me there is nothing they could do. I was like, do you wanna file it so that when I turn up dead you have a clue...they were like, nope! So I wiped my *** with it and threw it in their face. Anyways, still file a report so the credit card co. has proof if they ask you, as well as maybe doing some good by stopping the crime

COd..
ya pal, give them a call and see what you have to do to file a report..
if you get nowhere with them, lemme know exactly which store it is and i'll see what can be done on my end..(i'll need day, time too..that kinda shyt..)
getting nowhere with the cops, send off a little letter to Fantino expressing your dismay at "enter Division #"'s lack of interest in fraudulent crime..etc etc..
sounds like you've already contacted the CC company as i'm sure they asked you for a reason why you wanted to cancel your card..hopefully they'll have some sort of an investigation going on as well..

bb..
i've had a lotta shyt go down in my time..
i've been the target way too many times to just shrug it off as i'm known to normally do..
if i'd have had a letter something WOULD have been done about it..

Call Silverman helps. That guy helped my friends mom get back a $500 deposit at a car rental place that they were trying to scam her for, I'm sure they will do something about this. Plus you get to eb on TV.

Never go to the two Petro stations on the 401 near Cambridge. (the one with 2 McDonalds on both sides of the hwy)

yeah you should report taht ****.
if cops won't do it, right a letter like Si Veloz said. taht way cops will take in to consideration of every aspect in the crime scene rather than us "racers" with modified vehicles.

But when you told the CC company that you wanted to cancel your cc, did you tell them why? I had the same shiot happen to me and i reported it to the cc company (Royal Bank) and they reversed the charges and did their own investigation. They came up with no signature proving that i didnt buy what i said i didn't buy. So they kept the chages reversed, you dont have to live with that shiot you. Fight it!

i will but i don't even know how to contact the police. SERIOUSLY

paypal was the credit card company, and all they said was cancel the credit card. Thats all they said they were going to do , since the charge was denied.

I've been filling up their for about 6 months and no problems, but i'm positive it's this place, because my credit card isn't used anywhere else but their.

I'm sure it's not the guys on cash , cause they are pretty nice.

If someone can give me a number that i can call, it'll help alot
