I am a High School teacher (history/geograph), and it is always a bit scary hearing of these tragedies..but to be totally honest..I feel safe. Always have. I think most teachers think "it'll never happen here".

May God provide relief to the grieving familes tonight.

this is the most pointless arguement ever, but i'm bored

2 hours on CNN is nothing and there just reporting this now(wel ealrier) but it happened at the end of the school day and they didn't break the news till after 6:30...columbine stauts - not reached

they had a live feed from columbine while there were still kids running out of the school, and it was way more than 2 hours of coverage. columbine was the worst schoo shooting ever in U.S. history. even to go back throught the years and find anything where over 10 kids died in a school, you have to go back to pre 1940's (i think) where an entire school house blew up, but that was and mechanical accident not by someone's own will

yeah i'm bored and sorry for wasting the time of whoever read this

ok recent report.....they say the death toll has risen to 10 people now....i am getting ready to retract my previous statement.

and just so everyone knows i'm not putting off the fact that this is a terrible thing that happened and that no mother or father ever expect their child not to return home from school, and when that happens it is just sad, just because on ekid who "has it rough" decides to be selfish and destroy others lives instead of just taking himself out
