I used AVG, Kaspersky, and Norton. Of those 3 I found Norton to be best, but as stated it was a resource hog.

I just downloaded NOD32 yesterday because of what everyone here says, and I find it absolutely the best AV software I have used. I like its simplicity. Coupled with Adaware, and Spybot, as well as Eusing Registry cleaner I gave my computer a thorough cleaning.

im not completely sure but at one point in time when i was more of a computer geek, i knew that ad-aware actually had its own trojans. im not sure the other ones are safe but i've used spybot and it was great. now i use NOD32 - romanian antivurs, never failed me. bitdefender is also good.

screw norton and mcaffee.

but if you never have a scanner how would know if you never have a virus? You need something to check and confirm that there exists viruses and other malicious programs.

Its like you having some kind of disease or sickness that doesn't show any clear symptoms unless you actually go in and get yourself checked by a doctor.

How would you know unless you have yourself checked right?

rogers can detect trojan and bot activity on your connection. i have friends that have had rogers shut down their connection till they cleared up the virus issue...
