Any coin collectors out there?

I have a friend who's looking to sell a bunch of limited edition collector coins from the Sydney Olympic games... he paid 1g US for each set (he has two) and he's wondering if there's anything here in the area that he can go and see if they'd buy them off him, like a coin store or something of the sort... i have no clue when it comes to this stuff, and he doesn't live in Canada he's just visiting so he doesn't know either... if anyone could let me know what exists around here for coin collectors and such it would be greatly appreciated! thanks guys!

TIA!

go ***** somewhere else u *******!

e-bay seems like the best option so far,
my first comment was that they won't appreciate much in the years immediatley after they're made, it takes time....

anyone else have anything else to say that's RELEVANT to this thread and my original post?

If you go to Square One out in Missisauga, there's a coin shop on the lower level by Music World. Never went into it, but they've got coins galore in the front window.

Alex, The coin shop downtown is located in a small arcade right across from Temperance Street just south of Queen on Yonge.

Here's a stretch - did you check the yellow pages?
