Any F1 Fans?

Just wondering...F1 is one of my favourite sports...i havent missed a race in years...My favorite driver is Kimi Raikkonen that guy is friggin quickkk hes a really good driver...too bad mclaren sacrifised reliability for speed this year and its gonna cost him the title (along with some bad luck)

my favorite team is BAR Honda but i dont like their drivers at all...button is too cocky and over confident in my opinion and sato...well sato is only there for promotional purpose (japanese team/driver) hes just too wreckless...next year they signed rubens barrichello who brings some experience to the team, now all he needs is a "raikkonen style high flying quick young driver" along side him like Heikki Kovalainen who is rumored to enter f1 soon...(the fins are always quick)

Anyways i hope there is a few f1 fans here so that im not blabbing on for no absolute reason hahah

my avatar was kimi's limited edition monaco helmet for a bit. mclaren always have a bad start and end the season on a high note every year. like in 2000 when hakkinen came back at the end almost getting the title similar to raikkonen vs. alonso today but alonso is more favourable to win. it is nice to see mclaren back in front but i prefered to see ferrari up there too so i can see raikkonen beat schumacher in almost the same car in terms of performance. last year around spa was a great race in spa where raikkonen started 10th and won the race. i hope this year will be even better.

Yeah i really dont see Kimi winning the title but i hope mclaren can win the cunstructors championship and probably will (lets just hope fisichella keeps screwing up his pit stops lol). Kimi is rumoured to be going to Ferrari for 2007 along with Valentino Rossi...Guaranteed Ferrari will bounce back next year tho...

Go renault!!!!!!!!!
**** ferrari, god i hate them
mclaren is cool, fast as hell, but like you said not reliable. plus Kimi isn't really sensible behind the wheel. i don't its a matter of luck but more he pushes the car way too hard

kimi's attitude is to race to win, second is not acceptable. that means you're the first of the losers . that's why he only pushes as hard as he can go and i think that's what seperates him from the rest of the grid. he will continue to mature and what we see these days are just his raw speed.

I love watching F1 when i can, was a big fan of Villenueve before but its obvious he has lost the speed he once had...BAR, Renault for a few races and now Red Bull...he is always like 12th place.

I'd like to see Toyota do well. You guys do realize that when Shumacher leaves, Ferrari will have another 30 million to do more R&D so they will still be a team win for the next like 5-8 years atleast...that is if ecclestone dosen't **** up F1 and the manufacturers don't start their own racing series like has been talked about in the past.

what makes F1 interesting...to me atleast its no yellow flags to slow it down like yawn, Nascar, IRL, Champ...F1 rarely has a safety car, even if heavy *** rain.

sayjaibao Kimi will be at mclaren next year yes but rumour has it he has already signed on for ferrari for 2007 for ALOT of money (2006 is schumi's last season). Bottom line is Raikkonen just has plan SKILL, it's something you're born with (like MJ and b-ball).

I also like Villeneuve and when he was at BAR i was so happy...he is not competetive now but BMW just bought out Sauber and rumour is that Villeneuve has already been signed for 2006.

italia311 ahhh i remember the good ol' days with benetton, arrows, prost etc...benetton is now renault in case you didnt know...my favorite driver used to be damon hill...he was awsome at williams...and i even liked him at arows and jordan..

those rumours were also denied by mclaren. its ferrari who really wants raikkonen. i don't think that extra 30 million they will get after schumi leaves will put them back to the front of the grid. look at toyota, they have one of the biggest wallets in F1 and look where they are. ferrari's main problem is their ****ty BS tires. kimi didn't sign any contracts, you think ron dennis will seriously just let him go like that? ron is building the team around raikkonen. the car itself was designed for raikkonen. why do you think montoya complained so much in the beginning. raikkonen/mclaren is sort of like schumi/ferrari.

I wouldnt be surprised if Kimi went to Ferrari for a few reasons. First off Ferrari is the biggest, most popular and powerful team in F1, they are like the AC Milan of soccer, or The 90's Chicago Bulls of b-ball. And we all know that Raikkonen is a bit hot headed, hes young, dating miss. finland (i dunno if they got married yet) and he's known to go out get drunk and party hard, and he's been critisized for it. I think he loves attention and hed welcome the opportunity to move to Ferrari for all the exposure and popularity...especially if they bounce back and start dominating again (which they most likely will). Oh and not to mention that they can afford to pay him well...basically as much as is needed.

You say look where toyota is? Well toyota is stil new to F1...and they are doing amazing...they are in my opinion the 3rd best team right now and only getting better, i can see toyota (and honda) dominating the sport in the next 3-4 years...they basically have an unlimited budget...

ferrari can make the best damn car ever. its like you upgrade all your suspension and take it to the track but you're running on steelies with all seasons. thats the position ferrari is in and will continue to be in until they ditch bridgestone. you have every team in F1 other than ferrari testing for michelin. this allows michelin to have way more tire development than bridgestone does which is why michelin is so much better now. especially with the tires lasting a whole race, bridgestone really lost out because they're the ones who get the least amount of kms done which gives them limited info compared to michelin. BS dug this hole for themselves by commiting themselves to ferrari and strictly ferrari. they drove away mclaren and look what happened now. no doubt the ferrari is a good car this year and has potential to win. but its the TIRES thats holding them back. the life span of the BS are really bad. notice how schumi does well in the opening stages to the half point or 3 quarters, then the tires have a sharp drop off in terms of grip. even with quite possibly the best driver in F1, with ****ty tires you're not going to win any races period.

BAR is the third best team in F1 atm. toyota always has a good start in the season but fails to improve their car as the season goes by. i wouldn't say that they will dominate the sport. they will battle it out with the big guns, renault, mclaren, and ferrari. williams atm is pulling another 98 when renault dropped them. they're going to go down the drain like how they did in 98-99 until BMW came along and saved their asses.

i was hardcore F1 fan for last 3 years, but this year i didnt watch any or follow f1, cus of work.

but funny part is that FIA is making all the changes cus ferrari is just way to good, so they had to make all the changes so other teams can win, and trying to make even playing feild for all the teams, its okay tho, ferrari is gonna come back hard next year.

but i will miss barricalo from ferrai team, man that driver drive his heart out on the track. and how many times he let mike pass cus he team told him to, now thats heart.

there's nothing wrong with ferrari's car people!!! its quick but their problem is tires. RB was a dog, he did whatever ferrari told them to do. if they told him to bend over he would. the funny thing is that he thinks he could've been world champ by now if he was with another top team.

I agree their biggest problem is tires, BUT thats not their only problem...their competitors have an overall better package this year such as toyota, renault, and ofcourse mclaren...

BTW you were saying bar is better than toyota, and that toyota always does bad near the end of the season? well my point was proven this morning for the belgian grand prix the toyota's qualified 4th-6th while the bar's were 9th-11th...i think toyota is faster and more reliable than bar honda right now...(especially at the beggining of the season when bar didnt score point in what their first 7-8 races...their engines kept blowing up lol)

I can definetly see toyota and honda being 1-2 in the future because they are still learning and growing as they are both pretty new to f1...they have soooo much money to spend basically they will keep spending until they win...
