Alex, I found that option for the ringing lights on the pearl itself. Thanks haha.

I checked out that site you told me about, im going to try out a new theme when I get home later on.

Alex, the curve and the 8800 are nowhere near the size of older full keyboard devices. And the 8800 is actually thinner then the pearl, it's just wider.

^^ yeah i know it's thinner than the pearl... still wider, i know it's not as wide as the old ones but still wider...

it's all relative to the pearl... still not small enough to fit in my pocket easily...

if you just need a phone then ya i'd probably stick to the pearl too

but since my device is more of a business device im going to be switching as soon as my manager gets a hold of one

^^ nice Dhiren, the colour pearl is still my favourite hack so far... but i like it white... i just like the ability to change the colour @ will.... maybe i'l rock pink or blue today... haha or teal lmao...

i could colour coordinate with my outfits!


any other cool pearl hacks anyone else knows of?? other than

colour pearl
auto key lock

any cool themes people have??

yeah i agree with that 100% if youe using it for work the pearl would be annoying... but for personal use its' perfect... that's who they targeted anyways... the curve i think would be my choice if i had to get close to a fullsize BB...

is the curve classified as a smartphone?? or a full out BB

and what's the difference?

all that stuff is built in as regular features on internal code lol

The trackball can change color independent of the phone backlight color.

Luka, the rogers version doesn't have any of these features built in. So its something that has to be added manually.

Umm I dont think so, I dont recall there being an option for it.

Although its a great feature, the light sensor, automatically choosing whether or not to turn on the backlight.

i dont like it because when im in bed i want it bright but it senses that its dark so it dims the backlight

i turned that **** off so fast

i like mine bright all the time
