Had a factory snowcross race sled, a 99 yamaha SXR500. Thing was insane. Ohlins shocks, aftermarket long-travel suspension and a very healthy high-output 500 liquid twin. Could keep up with sleds with much larger engines on the trails with ease.

i have a 2006 Ski-doo MXZ 500SS adrenaline.

since the trails are **** around my house we trailer them to the cottage which is the 6 Star riding club, mactier area. I actually pulled an all nighter saturday night and made it up there at 4am, went out snowmobiling from 5am till 4pm on sunday.

I've been told i was crazy but i guess 11 hours of straight snowmobilin on no sleep can be a little odd. But it is worth it

I'm the same. It's weird, when I get on the machine it's like I now have unlimited energy and I just don't stop, if for anything it's to top up the gas tank and keep going!

It's a passion for sure.

93 Yamaha Bravo........Yep pretty sad but it's still fun. I do my riding back home on the Rock, Northern Newfoundland.

Can anyone recommend a place to rent a sled for a day or weekend trip?

depending on where you go will be where you rent, theres a place called "The Cove" its located on highway **. Just outside of mactier, and so far the trails that i have seen are best around there

got out again on the weekend, and again the trails at my cottage were amazing, nothing like seeing the fresh groomer trails, like a nice white blanket has been dropped on the trails.
