Anybody know anything about financing???
Ok!! I am poor and cannot afford a car
Anybody know anything about financing??
Like how would I go about doing it? From my bank or something?
Oh, and I'm unemployed, I'm still a university student..
How much would it cost me?

*ouch..... unemployed, how are you thinking of making your monthly payments then?
well you can either go through your bank (if you do you have to go to a dealership) or you can go through a dealership and they'll find a bank for you, or you can go to some private places that don't do credit checks and will just take a downpayment and a bunch of cheques for the next 4 yrs or so and keep a set of the car keys incase you choose not to pay lol..... Also if you go with a bank/dealership you're going to need a cosigner someone that has good credit that will sign on the loan to say that if you don't pay they'll take the blame and it'll ruin their credit rating
um... honestly if you're in uni already and you dont' have a car and you're unemployed it's gonna be damn expensive just to get one, and so not worth it.... of all the time i work i work a week and a half out of every month (two and a half sometimes during the school year) just to cover my car related expenses never mind tutition books, food etc...
just my $0.02

I'm a student, had the same job for almost 3 years now (will be 3 yrs in Sept.) and I still can't get in for financing...
Parents won't co-sign... :'(
I just want a car that $200/month over 5years... Basically a $10,000 car...
Oh well...

Why not buy a $10K car?? No one in their right mind will approve you... you could, however, get a student line of credit from TD bank, up to $6K. Tell them it's to cover tuition... you don't pay the balance owing till later, just the interest. I did it, but lost all the money in the stock market God damned NASDAQ and NYSE.
