Anyone else notice that more people tend to want to play Day of Defeat as the Germans then the U.S.? I think it reflexs on how much people have come lately to dislike the U.S.

DOD is like counter strike, but WWII mod for half life.

 

Playing as the US in any game is boring. Even back in the days of Command & Conquer I played as the Germans, Russians and British. I could careless about playing as an American.

We use to have LAN parties (yes I took computers in school and was a geek I guess you could say) and everyone played as the Japs or the Germans. Very few picked the Americans.
