Anyone ever had their tonssills out?
Im 24 and just got them out along with my adenoids. It ****in hurts like hell. Thay said its worse on your body as you get older. I can't ****in swallow anything! I try to eat but it hurts too much. This sucks.

the reason it's worse as your older is because they have to
use the Bovie method. A Bovie pencil-tip cautery device is used to burn the muscles around the tonsils to seal the wound.
As a kid they can cut it out and stitch the wound closed.. Not when your older.. It hurts, just drink a lot of cold water.
It's not bad. just don't do like Nose surgery with it.. cuz then you are screwed.. u will need to breathe thru your nose or your mouth will get dry 1000 times faster.

f*k i knew looking at this thread was going to be bad :S
i have to get my tonsils out but the dentist said i have to wait till both my bottom ones poke thru the gum.. so right now, my left gum has split and you can see this massive tooth just sitting there trying to get out.. hurts like HELL.. but on the right side.. nothing... cant even tell there is a tooth there so i have no idea how long i gotta wait for the thing to pop out b/c the other side kills!! and hahahaha i dont wanna be spitting out blood for a week..
maybe ill try what tom hanks did in cast aways

sucks... I had it done when i was young I think... I dun remember
and I have all 4 of my wisdom teeth. I got a big manly jaw , so there was room for 4 nice *** wisdom teeth to find their way in.
so bbarbulo - tonsils + 4 teeth

I had mine out when I was 4. I bled out like a motha f*cka and they couldn't stop the bleeding or stop it from going down my throat. I choked on some and about 3mgs went into my lungs. Never to come out again. When people get pnemonia its because of fluid in your lungs. I get strep throat/ear infections/ sinus infections / lung infections and pluricy at least 13 times a year because of the fluid thats already in my lungs becoming infected and inflamming. I got some money out of it from malpractice but its never going to be worth the pain and suffering I go through every month when I get really sick. When I die...send a card ok?
