the band is in the scream-mo genre, an offshoot of emo-music. so how is he a ****ty singer if he's singing like he should?

Well becuase it just sounds like crap, my opinion of course. The band is really really good though, and they have a great sound. But whenever I listen to their songs I'm just waiting for the moment the lead singer shuts up and those great melodies come through.

I just feel that his "singing" takes away from the great music and melody they have. To me, he just seems like the angry little guy that got picked on in school, letting his frustrations out in a very uncreative, and talentless way. Sounds like a child having a temper tantrum to me.
