Anyone have a Master's Degree?

I'm contemplating applying to U of T Graduate School for Criminology and I wanted to know if anybody has completed graduate school?

If so, which school and how difficult was it compared to undergrad?

Yup.

As mine is in Music (Performance), it's hard to compare. The course I took at Trinity College of Music (University of London, UK) stressed the practical rather than academic research. It was quite a bit more difficult than my undergrad, though.

My brother said his MA at Queens was easier than his BA at McGill. As your MA will be at U of T, I'm sure it'll be a significant challenge. I'm sure you will be fine, James. You may have to take the Miller tests for entry. Check with the Criminology Faculty.

The best thing? Membership in the Graduate Club and Teaching Assistant moolah.

Oh, and the undergrads really look up to you

It will be harder but then you will have more free time than undergrad.

I'm looking forward to mine when I get sick of working.... *looks at watch* not now.... but soon Can't be that hard, undergrad was pure jokes...I could have taken two undergrads, and it still would have been easy. I've taken master level courses, it's jokes too. I wrote a research paper as a senor student in prep for grad work...I did it in a week altogether. I only got a 75% on the paper (and IMHO the prof was kind to me). All in all, grad work is easy if you can make do as a student again after working.
