doesnt matter in terms of insurance.
all you do is get regular insurance.
make sure the back of your car says RIGHT HAND DRIVEN (must be visible and has to be of an appropriate size to be seen from 50 feet away)

doing a RHD conversion is completely different.

straight from the H.T.A
Every vehicle that is equipped with a right hand drive shall, unless it is equipped with a mechanical or electrical signal device as described in subsection 142 (6), have prominently displayed on the rear thereof, in bold face letters of not less than 50 millimetres in height and of a colour which is in contrast to that of the vehicle, the words,
“RIGHT HAND DRIVE VEHICLE”.

this topic has been beaten to death on GTRC, and nobody runs a right nad drive sticker, as long as you have signal devices, and i cant think of any car rhd or not that doesnt have turn signals so therefore rhd cars are big ugly sticker exempt
why would you do a conversion anyway, its so pointless considering how much it costs, the unnecesary headaches when making turns, and the potential other uses this money could go to which would make your car so much better is stead of so much more JDM TYTE

that is true.
but it is added protection.
afterall why would big city garbage trucks have RIGHT HAND DRIVEN on their vehicles if they are equipped with signals also.
also if u read the HTA it also states something about a police officer being able to clearly identify who the driver pay be in case of an accident or apull over from the rear.

ya you have a point but its just so ugly, i think i would risk the ticket sionce i think you can fight it and win, and plus garbage trucks arent really what i was thinking about, i was thinking more skylines or silvias, and who wants to drive a skyline with that big ugly sticker on it

but u gotta remember another thing too they are mostly exempt from alot of those rules. plus its only 50 millimetres MINIMUM thats not bad

However, it is possible to import the old JDM vehicle (15 year or old) into Canada.
Yes u have to inform ur insurance its RHD, its not extra, or anything but solves provlems of not telling them...later, in case of accidents and ****...
