Anyone know how to Unlock a T68I?

I ordered one of ebay, and its coming with the data cable. Is there software I can download to do it? Or is there a shop to do it at for like $20-$30? TIA

Almost all the cell phone shops in Pac Mall, First Markham Place and other Chinese malls have people that know how to do it.

As for price, I really don't know. I was gonna say... drop the phone and TA DA! You have successfully unlock every piece of it...

I guess that won't help much huh?

But there is a place in TO that unlocks it for $50.

If you're looking for a non-Asian place: There's a crappy little mall attached to the Sheraton hotel at Hwy. 7 and Leslie and there's a cell phone store in there that unlocks phones. It's run by a small white girl and a big white guy. I don't know what the price is tho.

unlocking means, its unlocked, can be used on ANY provider. when you get a fone from rogers, it is locked to rogers and can only be used for rogers once unlocked can be used with fido

Telus doesn't support GSM phones. I believe they operate on TDMA or CDMA technologies.

I believe unlocking works only for sim generated phones. If a GSM phone has been unlocked, it means this phone can be used on most providers given you have a sim already. So if I am on rogers, and I want to use my phone for fido, I could get it unlocked, then get onto fido, and use my phone and not have to pay for a new phone on fido.

I believe Telus phones are ment for telus only, as they go by phone serial numbers. (EMS or something)

Scott, check out www.bongowireless.com. The best place you could go to
